Enduro World Championship Finish with Double Win in Wales
Triumph Factory Racing’s Leo Joyon has finished as vice-champion in the FIM Junior Enduro World Championship after a standout debut season with the team. At the EnduroGP of Wales, the Frenchman delivered a dominant double victory in the Junior and Junior1 classes, while teammate Jeremy Sydow secured back-to-back Enduro1 podiums at Triumph’s home round. Wildcard riders Jonny Walker and Tom Booth-Amos also joined the Triumph line-up for the season finale.
Celebrating its home Grand Prix, Triumph Factory Racing also unveiled a special British Racing Green livery, echoing the design used by Triumph’s MX2 team at the MXGP of Great Britain last month.
Joyon produced one of his strongest weekends of the season, dominating both days of Junior competition. After winning five tests and finishing inside the top three on every other test on Saturday, Leo claimed his third overall Junior victory of the season and topped the Junior1 class. He then raised the bar again on Sunday, winning nine tests on his way to a commanding 38-second victory in both Junior and Junior1. The double victory capped off an outstanding debut season with Triumph Factory Racing. With his results in Wales, Joyon finished second in the FIM Junior Enduro World Championship, just nine points shy of the title, while also securing second in the Junior1 Enduro World Cup.
Sydow began his weekend strongly by finishing second in Enduro1 in Friday evening’s Super Test before carrying that pace into Saturday’s racing. The German recorded the second-fastest scratch time on the opening Cross Test and remained competitive throughout the day to finish 10th overall and third in Enduro1. Another strong performance on Sunday, including multiple top-five overall test times, saw him finish ninth in EnduroGP and claim a second consecutive Enduro1 podium with third. Despite missing the opening round of the championship through injury, Sydow completed his first season with Triumph Factory Racing 12th in the overall EnduroGP standings and fourth in Enduro1 - 11 points shy of the podium.
Making an EnduroGP wildcard appearance, Walker impressed in Friday’s Super Test by setting the fourth-fastest time aboard the TF 450-E, with his SuperEnduro experience proving invaluable on the technical course. The Brit then enjoyed two days of learning and racing in the Enduro2 class, finishing seventh on Saturday and eighth on Sunday as he adapted to the demands of timecard enduro once again.
Contesting his first EnduroGP race, Tom Booth-Amos raced the TF 250-E in the National class. The British rider finished 18th on Saturday in a field of around 60 competitors before stepping up his pace on Sunday, recording the eighth-fastest time on the opening test and ultimately finishing 17th.
The EnduroGP of Wales brought to a close another successful season for Triumph across the championship, with the manufacturer recording 62 podium finishes and 15 victories across factory and supported teams in 2026. Triumph Factory Racing accounted for 33 of those podiums and 10 wins. The most successful weekend came at the GP of Portugal I, where Triumph riders collected 13 podiums and Joyon secured the factory team’s first victory. Triumph Italia Racing’s Morgan Lesiardo also finished the Enduro1 championship as runner-up after securing second place on both days in Wales, while teammate Roland Liszka added a Junior1 podium on Saturday. Johansson MPE’s Will Dennett also finished third in Junior2, further contributing to a memorable weekend and a highly successful second season of EnduroGP competition for Triumph.

“The season has now finished in Wales. Today was positive and I felt good, although some mistakes cost me some time. I have also been a little unwell all weekend, which hasn’t helped. Overall, I am happy with my season; it wasn’t the best start with my injury and missing the first round, but I think I showed what I am capable of. Since Finland I was on the podium every weekend in my class and I think we can be happy with that. The season is over really early, but this gives us a lot of time to prepare for next year where I really hope to continue to improve and see what we can achieve.”

“I am really happy after this weekend. I was riding really well, I felt so good on the bike; the team and the mechanics have done a really good job to give me this package. I finished first in scratch both days, and this was a fantastic way to end the championship. To take the second place in the standings in scratch and class was not my goal for the season to be honest, but we have to be positive and pleased with the work we have done. I started the season a little bit slowly, but we continued to make improvements, and the results have shown that. Now we go to the French Championship and I look forward to racing at the International Six Days Enduro with the French national team, which will be a great way to finish off the year.”

“We just finished up day two at the EnduroGP in Wales. Honestly, I’ve had a mad weekend! Yesterday was so good, and today was even better; the track was super-rough. I’m pretty happy with the results, and it was amazing to see the fans around the track. I could hear them cheering us on as we were going around, and overall it was just a great experience. I enjoyed riding the TF 450-E and it was mega. I hope to come back and do some more races in the future!”

“The weekend is done here in Wales. I’ve had a great time and I really enjoyed it. It was nice to do something different to what I normally do. It was a bit of a learning curve; today was a little bit better, I felt like I rode better, I kind of understood everything a bit more. I’m actually not that happy with my overall position, I know that I am capable of more, but that’s just the competitor in me. I can’t thank Triumph, Paul (Edmondson) and the team for preparing everything and letting me do it. Let’s see, maybe I can get prepared a little better to do another one and see what result I could get!”

“Overall, it’s been a great season. Considering the circumstances we had at the start, with injuries and having to draft riders in and move things around, to finish the year with Leo in such incredible fashion is something we can be really proud of. He just missed out on the Junior overall championship, finishing second in both Junior and Junior1, but the progress he’s made throughout the season has been phenomenal. The whole point of bringing this younger generation into the team is for them to learn, and Leo has really shown that he’s taken everything on board. Credit to him, his mechanic and the whole team for the work they’ve put in. Today in Wales, going 1-1, was a really strong and consistent way to finish the season. Jeremy has also come a long way this year. He’s now consistently fighting for the top three in Enduro1 and is right there in the top 10 of the EnduroGP class, so we have a really strong platform to build from going into next season. Having Jonny and Tom with us this weekend also made the home GP even more special. It’s been a hectic but fantastic event, and I think it’s probably been one of the best of the season. Overall, finishing the championship with such a strong weekend here in Wales was a really fitting end to what has been a great season for the whole team.”
